I think Legally Blonde deserves the title "what Working Girl wanted to be" bc that's the only thing that I was thinking about the whole time I watched this movie.

Let's see... I did really like the concept. A girl gets underestimated at work because of her looks and she proves people wrong. The problem is that it doesn't really do a good job of it.

The main character, Tess, doesn't actually really prove to anyone that she's also brains or anything, she just kinda does her job pretending to be something that she technically could have done since her boss told her to cover.

Also, the relationships between people are sooooo confusing. Like Tess and her boyfriend, Tess and Jack, Tess and her boss. Literally I had no idea what everyone thought of each other. I realize later that this is almost entirely because of Tess herself.

I haven't seen any other of this actress' movies, but I hate to say it, she was not good in this movie. Like, at all. I don't know who the casting director was but they did a great job of literally everyone except the main character. She did not belong in that role, at all, and it was very hard to sell the character to me as her.

But also the rest of the movie was just mid. It didn't really add anything to my life at all. It was just kind of okay and I don't really know what else to say about it.

So I guess that's it. Pretty mid. Hard to get hype about. Not necessarily a bad movie, I don't think, but I also don't think I would be in any rush to see it again.

I just have one thing and it's the whole think with Tess and whoever her old boyfriend was, but I feel like if I walked in on my boyfriend cheating, I wouldn't be as okay with the whole day-after thing. "Maybe"? To quote her old boyfriend, fuck maybe! How about we either never talk again or I kill you like what???

Am I glad I watched it?
Sort of?

Would I watch it again?
Probably not

Would I recommend it to a friend?
Probably not

Favorite Character

Cyn!

I feel like she was the only character with, like, personality. I think she really sells her role and I also think that she does it better than literally anyone in the movie.

But that's actress stuff. I think that the character herself is super cool and in real life I think I would try to be friends with Cyn, no matter how big her hair is.

Actually, looking back on it, I did actually really enjoy her character a lot. Props to whoever created her! Maybe they should've put thatmuch effort into the rest of the movie...
