Okay so this movie was lowkey a staple for my childhood negl but I watched it again recently and I liked it as a kid but oh my gigety goodness was this such a good movie.

Like, as a kid I obviously didn't get the underlying theme about inequality and allat but now I totally get it and I feel like ts is like so powerful like??? All the stereotypes of the predators and the prey and how that ended up eventually tearing them apart and like dude...

And also arguably the Emmitt Otterton thing could be like losing a loved one to drugs but like I've heard that before and I see it kind of but also not really.

Anyway, this movie was also really entertaining and also lowkey funny. Like, most of the time, themed movies are either boring or bland or both but this one was lowkey neither!

And also all the characters were great, even though Nick Wilde lowkey pisses me off in the beginning of the movie, near the end he was cool. Like Judy Hopps was a great example of like becoming what you want to be when you grow up and if you believe in it then you can become anything, which I think is really powerful, especially to children.

Yeah. This movie had a lot of underlying factors which definitely contributed to the high score but also just that it was actually entertaining with a good plot and good characters.

I guess the reason it's not a perfect score is just because, like, that DMV sloth scene pissed me off. Just go quickly. Like please.

No but seriously, it was probably just bc it's a kids movie, so obviously it can't really delve into things with complete detail, y'know?

Also the DMV sloth gag was lowkey genius, btw.

The Zootopia abortion comic lowkey ruined this movie for me, but even after that it cooked up w the messages and allat.

Bro the mayor whatsherface pissed me off, which makes sense ig. But also, like, why did she even do ts? Like maybe I missed that part but if I was prey then why would I make all of these rabid predators that could cook me up in like seconds flat?

Thinking on it, it's prolly so that she could prove that the predators are evil and so they could all be kicked out of Zootopia. That's actually prolly it.

But yeah. This movie is lowkey great I can't even lie. I haven't seen Zootopia 2 but I can just tell it's on some bullcrap cuz how is it supposed to beat THAT. I bet Zootopia 2 doesn't have underlying anythings huh...

Favorite Character

Judy!

Like, as I said in the review, she was lowkey just a good character all around, and like yeah she had flaws, but she was overall determined and smart, and definitely a good character for little kids, y'know?

Close second was probably that cheetah guy, or Mr. Big. I love his character design, I guess, along with the cheetah guy.

But yeah. Great role model for kids, great message, and great character all around. Also rabbits are my favorite animal, but that barely plays apart in this ranking at all.
