A lot of people like this movie a lot, and I have to say that it's defintely not my favorite of the Saw movies.
I mean, the characters were okay for the most part but I just found it kind of boring? Also I feel like they kind of messed it up by putting one person in charge of people dying, y'know?
Like, the point of Jigsaw was that he made people respect their lives by putting THEM in traps that THEY THEMSELVES have to get out of in order to respect life, but if you give someone else the chance to decide if somebody lives or dies, then I feel like that theme goes out the window.
So that's the main reason I didn't like the movie. That, and the fact that the rest of the movie wasn't very good, either.
The characters were mid, they fucked Amanda's character up so bad by making her cocky, like this is not the Amanda I know. They gave her a little more lore, though, which was cool, and showed us her and John's relationship, I guess. But Lynn and Jeff? I didn't gaf at ALL about their sideplot.
Also the ending was mid and so was the twist, and if it was 2006 and Leigh Whannell and James Wan were talking about some "this is the last movie" boy... This is a terrible movie to end on.
Honestly, I didn't like this movie much at all. Some of the traps were cool, like I liked the angel wing trap a lil. But like everything was just kind of mid. It didn't feel fresh like Saw II, or keep you on the edge of your seat like Saw. I think that the only reason you would watch this movie was so that you could get context for Saw IV, which was ACTUALLY a good movie and you do need to watch this movie for that.
Yeah. This movie was mid. Overhyped. Meh.

I feel like Kerry's death was supposed to be bigger but she was kinda just in the plot but not really completely submerged, so I ended up just not really gaf-ing about it.
Also like Lynn x Amanda is real they were freaky ash in ts movie.
Bro I hate Amanda in ts movie sm omfg ts movie is the reason I actually don't like Amanda like it soured the whole experience for me.
Now that I'm really thinking about it, I really am not a fan of ts movie. The red theme is cool ig? idk...

All these characters sucked I'm ngl and I honestly don't gaf about Lynn, but I guess she's the best character there and like I like doctor characters I guess and a female doctor is pretty rad ig.
