This is a movie shot and made into rotoscope about the shooting on the University of Texas tower in Austin during the 1960's. Not only is this topic really niche and interesting, but it's a GREAT documentary.
The rotoscope had me at first... I was like "really? THIS is what the whole movie's gonna look like?" but the further you get, the further you see the effects of the rotoscope and it's really great. Also, recreations are terrible, so they made it better in a very creative way, and I liked that a lot.
The sound is also great and so are the clips and such. Honestly, the further you get into the movie, the better it gets. It's really great.
Also, the messages and the victim's thoughts about it were REALLY interesting and so were the clips and stuff.
Yeah. This was a great documentary. Am definitely glad I watched it, I would probably watch it again, and I would definitely recommend to a friend.
Also, fun fact, my dad's friend actually made this movie, and I got to interview him for my school magazine. Pretty cool guy! Some of the footage actually has been hiding in a guy's sock drawer since the event happened. Cray!
