Drama; PG

2000

This is an old review (as you should see with the red) but I've seen this movie two times: The first time, I remembered literally none of it, and the second time, it was AMAZING.

Like, the acting is good, the characters (who ig are real people but idrc) were cool for the most part, and the message bro... BEAUTIFUL. Literal WORK OF ART.

And like bro this movie, especially since it was based irl, has an amazing message of bringing people together and acceptance and allat like :,) It's SO GOOOOD.

Idek what to say like, it was just a beautiful movie and all the characters and everything are great and I could watch it a million bajillion more times if I could. Absolutely terrific movie.

Only reason it's not a straight 10/10 is because in order for a movie to be a 10/10 it has to have ALL the parts i like... sadly, one of those is comedy, and while this movie is GREAT, it has none. Sowwy :(

SPOILERED REVIEW!

I love the part where whoever's girlfriend at first didn't shake Julius' hand, and then near the end she did bro that was sad but also that was so sweet like...

Also bro Gerry's death got me FUCKED UPPPPPPP like omfg bro lets like bring him back to life please can we all do that.

And also that "Sunshine" guy... lowk hear me out but also was he actually gay? Didn't say anything about that in the last part of the movie but idk.

Am I glad I watched it?
Yes

Would I watch it again?
Yes

Would I recommend it to a friend?
Yes

Favorite Character

Louie!

I mean... come on. How can one NOT love this guy.

But if you've seen the movie, this is pretty obvious, but he's definitely the most welcoming character, ESPECIALLY in the beginning. As the movie goes on and everyone likes everyone, he's still there but less as a welcoming figure, but still great.

Also, he's funny kind of, he's loud, he's FUN.

Idk. I like this guy! I wanna be this guy! Yayyy Louie!!!
