I was expecting a much more hype movie based on the ranks it gets other places... I fear that I was lowkey disappointed.
Definitely see why the rankings are high... If I went into the documentary knowing it wasn't fake, I might've fallen for it for like the first thirty seconds, but for the most part it was like "eh".
Idk. It just trailed off and some parts where lowkey boring BUT what I will say was that the ending was definitely very tuff.
I'm not sure I would say the ending is quite worth it, but I definitely thought it was really cool. Especially the VERY end, like intertwined with the credits was the part where I was like "ohh" but tbh even then i was lowk confused.
Would I recommend it? I don't even know. It's not a COMPLETE waste of your time, I guess. watch it if you want to say you watched it, but if you don't care that much then you don't really have to. It won't really change your life it you watch it or not.
The reason it gets a 7.5/10 Jupiters and not like a 3 is because it was actually a pretty good movie. The big issue was, though, just how BORING it was. It was like an actual documentary, but instead of most documentaries where it's on something niche and interesting, it was on something niche and boring. And you can recognize that it was fake anyway, so there wasn't that documentary effect where you realize everything's real.
Anyway. Good movie, but boring. Not allat.

I'm honestly shocked at how chill Alice was when she saw her dead self. Me personally, I would like sneak a visit to area 51 and fuck up everything cuz like hey im gonna die anyway.
Ts lowkey also reminded me a little of like, Macbeth. Like, he knew he was gonna be king so he fucked shit up, and Alice knew she was gonna die so she fucked less shit up but yknow... yeah.
Bro also I was so lost when there was the sex tape and the guy wouldn't get arrested for it... they were all like "yeah but she's 17 and it's consensual" 17??? I'm not Australian, but in America it's 18. If this shit were to happen in America the guy would have like 12 "To Catch a Predator" episodes about him, 2 documentaries, and like a life sentence.

I talked a little about it in the main review, but that scene fucked me upppp. Like, when she saw herself dead, that was the first time throughout the whole movie that I actually cared about it. And the fact that she got it on video??? Dude.
And like ESPECIALLY during the credits where it showed all the pictures of her actually hiding in the photos/videos that were proved fake... woah.
But yeah. As far as I'm concerned, that last part was soooo good. only good part of the movie.
Omg and like the part where Alice was talking to the spiritual guy and like Alice's mom was also talking to him n the overlaps???? yo ts got me FUCKED UP.
But yeah. Homestretch was actually terrific, now that I'm thinking about it.
