Yeah I know this isn't technically a movie but who is watching ts like a two part miniseries and ot like a hella long movie... Let's be fr.
Anyway, going into this movie (im just gonna call it a movie), i was expecting a total POS. But honestly, all things considered, it wasn't even all that bad.
That doesn't necessarily mean that it was good, and honestly for it being 3 hours long it felt a little rushed. But with what they had, I feel like they did a good job w the script and all that. And I guess that the more recents had 2 long ass movies that amounted to more like 5 hours, so yeah.
Anyway, it honestly was kinda good. Do I think that because I had expectations to the floor going into it? Maybe. But a win is a win ig.
Idk I feel like when you talk about this movie with the fandom, the conversation turns dry, just because people either dont bother watching it or they prefer the newer one. Which makes sense, I guess, since I do think it's better in many aspects.
Actually, while we're on that topic, I thought that the characters were honestly better represented in this movie. Like Richie? I feel like he was a LOT better in this movie, just because it was a lot more similar to the book. And I feel the same for Eddie and a lot of the others.
Speaking of the book, I think that it order to really enjoy this movie, you have to want to read the book. Y'know? Because it felt kind of rushed and everything and I think the book (and the newer movies, for that matter) goes a lot more into depth with the whole thing, even if that means tweaking a couple things. But I do like that it's similar to the book, I guess.
Also I really like Pennywise in this movie. Idrk why but I think ts is just done better cuz the other one is like just like annoying but this one is like irritating n funny and stuff. idk.
I don't know. I like the newer movies because, of course, the effects are better and all that, but mostly because, as I said, it goes a lot more into depth with the characters and their fears and all that. But then again...
Idk. It's okay. I think that they did a bangup job with the newer movies, and in all honesty, I don't know if this is a necessity of a watch. It's a good watch, I thought, but that's just because I really like the IT media as a whole.
So in conclusion, good watch. Not necessary, but if you liked the newer movies or book then theres a good chance at you liking this movie.

what was the point of changing the 27 years to 30. Did they even do that? idk that was a little confusing for me.
also, like. why did they have to make eddie a total twink.
okay somebody had to say it like are we serious??? THIS GUY??? but honestly ig it suits his character. Crazy there was no Myra tho ngl.
Also ngl i hate to be the one saying it but old Beverly was acting a freak im not gonna lie... was ts just me??? idk.
yeah ill def think of something later...
Whats with Bill's ponytail. That's what I was gonna say. He was literally bald in the book. They did NOT have to do him like that...
Idk I'll think of more pretty sure.
Bro when Eddie was all like "im a virgin cuz ive never been able to crack anyone unless i love them like you guys" does that mean he was down to crack his homies? And ONE of them is a girl like maybe they were thinking about reddie in the preindustrial era of when only the book was written... who am i kidding who WASNT thinking reddie...
Also sorry to make this all about reddie but like... yall saw that right. like its not just me right.
idk maybe imma get like flamed cuz all the og IT uncs r gonna come after me n be like "Stephen King never meant for them to be gay!" like okay then why did he make them act gay. If theres a will theres a way, yall.
idk what situations that phrase is supposed to be used in i prolly used it wrong just use the vibes to decide what i meant to say ig.
Am I glad I watched it?
Yes
Would I watch it again?
Probably
Would I recommend it to a friend?
If they like It media

Richie!
I mean. I think this was some of the best richie representation. It's very similar to the book, which I enjoy. Also, he was good in both adult and kid form.
Honestly, is it bad to say I would much rather prefer this Richie to the newer movie richies? Like, perchance by a lot.
Idk. He was funny. And I like his voices a lot ig. One of my favorite attributes of his is that I was mad about them not adding into the newer movies.
Anyway, close seconds are probably young Bill and old Eddie. I also liked Ben but he kinda seemed like a background character in a weird way? Sort of? Idk where I'm getting that from.
Ig thats it. Love ts Richie ngl. Also Seth Green eats in general but i promise I'm not biased guys.
