To be honest, going into the movie, I heard no good reviews. Also to be fair, I only heard like one review, and it was that it wasn't very good. And while I can see where they were coming from, I honestly enjoyed this movie a lot.
It was like a bell curve: the beginning was corny and the ending was bad, but the in-between was okay. Like there were some parts that were meh but we all have those moments, right?
What I will say is that the animation is GREAT. I honestly thought that the animation was some of the cleanest I've seen. The action was good, and there were some geniunely funny lines.
This movie was definitely entertaining. Am I glad I saw it? Sorta. Would I see it again? Probably not. Would I recommend it to a friend? Kind of. I would tell them that "it wasn't that bad; definitely not as good as the first movie, but definitely not bad".

At first, this guy was really cool! he had a change of heart and was with Mario and Luigi! Yay! But then he remembered his son or whatever and went back to his old ways...
But that part where he was friends w Mario n Luigi was really tuff.
Also, he was REALLY funny. Like, he didn't have MANY funny lines, but the whole puppet show thing and that one line, "You grew up so much when I wasn't paying attention!", really stuck w me.
He was also great at painting??? idk Bowser was so tuff in this movie!!!
