Yes, that's how you spell it. It's a German movie. And a pretty good one, too.

This is a movie based on a true story about East Germans attempting to flee to the West via hot air balloon. And just watching it, the experience was so stressful I might as well have been with them.

This movie was lowkey exhausting because there was so. Much. Suspense. The WHOLE time. And they keep psyching you out and you think something bad's gonna happen and it keeps not happening...

Whatever. VERY suspenseful movie. Also, the acting was great and definitely was realistic how everyone acted and stuff.

Yeah! This movie is realllyyy good if you want a very suspenseful movie. I wouldn't say it's necessarily action-packed, but it keeps you on the edge of your seat for the whole ride.

Not even gonna lie, hear me out the older brother... BRO WHEN HE GOT W THAT GIRL IT PISSED ME OFF SO BAD. Not cuz I thought he was fine, but just because it was like "dude, your whole family is on the line. Use your head."

One of my friends said that the mom pissed him off, and honestly I disagree. I would actually think that the mom was a very well-written character. Actually, a VERY well written character, now that I think about it.

Yeah I know this was based of true events but like I still like to call them characters bc calling them people is weird.

Anyway, yeah. Didn't know how strict the East Germans were... hm.

I don't want to spoil too much, but there's this scene where a certain character has to sneakily retrieve a letter from a mailbox... and then BOOM! A dog appears!

But by then, the character has already retrived their letter, and they look around and there are 2 men STARING at them.

Not even gonna lie, this shook me to my boots. The dog jumpscared me super bad and then the two guys were just so unnerving... Bleh.
